Overview

Graphcom Creative's Junior Web Developer must create and executes creative concepts for interactive media, including websites, presentations, online games and videos, kiosks, CD–ROMs and DVDs. Knowledge of web architecture, web design, multimedia communications and interface design is required, as is proficiency in software programs such as Flash, Dreamweaver and PowerPoint. Understanding of Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Premiere are a definite plus. Working knowledge of print design software is helpful. The Junior Web Developer must have sound knowledge of a range of web coding languages and standards, including PHP, Javascript, jQuery, Actionscript, HTML, CSS, XHTML and XML. In addition, the Junior Developer must have a strong visual style; willingness to embrace new technologies; and a thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, images and interactivity impact user experience.

• Understands functions of Content Management Systems (CMS) and operates comfortably in Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and custom CMS environments.

• Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge – Expanding base of knowledge of front-end development and the future direction of web technologies including but not limited to gamification, responsive design, touch-based interactivity, etc.   
• Getting Information – Observing, receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
• Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work – Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work.
